Kotlin / Java eng w/ exp building REST APIs using Spring Boot in a cloud env

Project Details:

• This resource will help build new APIs in Kotlin & Spring Boot to support the MY UHC portals
• This is brand-new development that will be done in AWS (the rest of UHG is on Azure generally)
• They want to get their first API in prod in the next 60 days

Candidate Profile:

• Mid-level Java or Kotlin eng
• 3+ yrs exp in an ent env
• 5+ yrs exp overall
• Exp developing complex REST APIs for customer-facing portals
• Exp developing in a cloud env
• Pref AWS
• This team will also need to build their own CI/CD pipelines

Daily Responsibilities:

• Develop new REST APIs in Kotlin & Spring boot
• Develop enhancements to existing services
• Unit testing
• Bug fixes
• Building their own CI/CD pipelines
• Standard agile processes
